Claudio Guglielmelli came to Double R Productions from a
freelance position with the Kathy Harty Gray Dance Company, creating video
pieces for the prestigious and innovative dance group. His position at
Double R Productions involves working closely with clients and
consulting through their projects from concept to finish, assisting with
budgeting and pricing needs, coordinating pre-production and video shoots,
video logging and editing, and maintaining friendly relations with customers
and their respective organizations, many of whom have welcomed
Guglielmelli's hands-on approach to their projects year after year.
As Production Manager, Guglielmelli is responsible for managing
most of the day-to-day production operations for Double R. In
addition, Guglielmelli works with clients who require video productions
year-round, including Projection Presentation Technology, Northstar Group,
American Society of Mechanical Engineers, Energy Star Alliance and Rockcreek
Strategic Marketing, to name a few. Guglielmelli has coordinated video
shoots for award ceremonies and company seminars, including a conference for
the Annie E. Casey Foundation at the Canon House Office Building, which
required six individual wireless lavalier mic setups as well as a
videographer. Guglielmelli’s latest project includes a commercial campaign
for Coester Appraisal Group. Vernon Davis, professional football player and
pro-bowl tight-end, served as host for the web spots.
Using his experience as a videographer for the Kathy Harty Gray Dance
Theatre, Guglielmelli has shot numerous video projects for Double R
Productions that have required two videographers. His latest shoot was
at the Mayflower Hotel in Washington DC, operating second camera for the
American Society of Mechanical Engineers and their "Ask the Expert" video
series.
Guglielmelli is also a Production Coordinator for the National
Association of Broadcasters and their Congressional Families PSA Campaign,
which occurs every off-election year. Fluent in Spanish, Guglielmelli has
been especially helpful to Double R Productions with projects
requiring Spanish translations, such as the LatinoMovil Cellphone initiative
and many others, including Spanish voice over work and spot appearances for
the NAB PSA campaign as well as the Greater Washington Hispanic Chamber of
Commerce.
A graduate of Penn State University, Guglielmelli was involved in Penn
State’s Public Broadcasting station, and was a producer/director of “The
Final Cut”, a live-to-tape magazine show that aired weekly on campus
television. In his free time, Guglielmelli plays with a soccer league and
participates in tournaments year-round.
