Alisa Murray is a Senior Communications/ Journalism major and Interdisciplinary Arts major at Shippensburg University. Murray, a Philadelphia native, is interning at Double R Productions because of her interest in film, acting, and movie production. At Shippensburg University, Murray is the entertainment director for her school television station. She is the creator, producer and host of an entertainment news show called “Backstage.” She is a writer, actor and editor for the student-run comedy sitcom called “The PoopDeck,” as well as an actor and writer for her schools student-run sitcom “Undergrads.” She anchors the news for her school station and is a member of the National Broadcasting Society. Murray’s career aspirations are to own a production company that focuses on eliminating minority stereotypes by portraying under-represented groups positively in the media and in film. Murray has an interest in the Interdisciplinary Arts and theater. She has had roles in various theater productions and hopes to act in the movies she produces.
Ben Roselieb is trading in his small town life for a summer in Washington, D.C. with Double R Productions. Roselieb grew up in Wauseon, Ohio (small) and will be entering his fourth and final year as a Broadcasting and Electronic Media major with a minor in Public Relations next fall at Ohio Northern University (even smaller!). While at Ohio Northern, Roselieb is the News Director for ONU Cable 3, where he produces and directs a live news show called Northern Exposure. He sees his intern position with Double R Productions as an opportunity to get real, hands-on experience in all aspects of production. He’s ready to work hard with Double R and take home plans for his future in the broadcasting world.
Andria Bernard is entering her senior year at Western Illinois University, earning her major in Communication, with minors in Broadcasting, Marketing, and Spanish. A Chicagoland native, she thrives with diversity and variety that a big city has to offer. At Western Illinois, she is involved in the National Broadcasting Society, as well as the National Honor Society for Undergrads in Communication. In addition, Bernard is a member of the Mortar Board National Honor Society that recognizes students for the leadership and service to the community. Through interning at Double R Productions, she looks forward to gaining real-life, hands-on experience in the creative process that goes into producing everything from marketing to video productions. Bernard aspires to work in the forever-changing field of media production.
