Megan Kimball is an Associate Producer for Double R Productions. Kimball has assisted on productions for the National Partnership for Women & Families, US Department of Justice, US Customs and Border Protection and was the technical operator for a 3-week-long shoot for the National Association of Broadcasters. Kimball has experience writing and editing, including a tribute video for “Woman of Vision” Andrea Sims for the 2007 Women in Film & Video Gala. She also worked closely with the editing for the Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center at the University of Maryland and a short anniversary piece for the American Red Cross. Most recently, she worked as a production runner for PGA Tour Productions at Tiger Wood’s A&T National Golf Tournament. Kimball also had the opportunity to represent Double R Productions at the International Women’s Forum 2007 Global Conference in Chicago, where she attended the annual luncheon that featured an anniversary video produced by Double R Productions.
Kimball worked at KOMU-TV 8, the NBC affiliate in Columbia, Missouri where she started as an intern and then worked as an audio operator, graphics operator, technical director and finally a director. Working in the fast-paced world of “live” television gives her the ability to think quickly on her feet and stay focused under pressure. She is a graduate of the University of Missouri where she majored in communications with emphasis in visual media.
Outside of Double R Productions, Kimball is in the pre-production stages of a short film that she plans to have in production by next fall.
