Double R Productions and Redpeg Marketing Team Up
to Create “Welcome” Video for Gaylord National
As part of its Grand Hire Event, The Gaylord National Resort Hotel & Convention Center hosted a three-day hire session for over ten thousand applicants.
Double R Productions created a 10-minute welcome video for the resort with only one shoot day allocated in the budget. Claudio Guglielmelli and Megan Kimball coordinated the mobile Double R Productions team of shooters, grips and sound techs across the 41.7 acres of Gaylord National property, including the 18-story atrium, convention center, exhibit hall, and Gaylord’s lavish guestrooms, shooting b-roll as well as interviews along the way. The video features Gaylord National’s General Manager, Sheldon Suga, as well as Tina Sampson, Vice-President of Sales and Marketing. Gaylord National will contain 2,000 guest rooms, 470,000 square feet of meeting space, and a 20,000 square foot day spa, salon, and fitness center, upon completion in 2008.

Double R Productions Highlights the Efforts of the American Red Cross
 |
Double R Productions Senior Editor Michael Gionis worked with the American Red Cross Staff to edit a documentary style video that expresses the tireless efforts
made by the American Red Cross Staff. |
The American Red Cross Hurricane Recovery Program has worked tirelessly since 2005 to help those affected by Hurricanes Katrina, Rita and Wilma rebuild their lives. As the program comes to a close, the American Red Cross came to Double R Productions to produce a video for the 2007 Hurricane Recovery Program All Staff Conference in New Orleans. Due to the serious nature of the Hurricanes, the American Red Cross had hours and hours of interview and destruction footage. Double R Productions Senior Editor, Michael Gionis and production assistant, Megan Kimball worked collaboratively with the Red Cross staff to find interview bites that best described the heart-wrenching journey from destruction to recovery. The result was a powerful and emotional documentary style video that revealed the unwavering efforts made by American Red Cross Staff. This is the second video that Double R Productions has produced for the American Red Cross in 2007.
