Double R makes 'CENTS' for America's Community Bankers
For Immediate Release
November 12, 2004
Washington, DC
Double R Productions provided all video support for the
America's Community Bankers' Annual Conference in October. The elements were
packaged for ACB's annual convention, produced by Gene Lundgren of Aquarian
Entertainment. The Marriott Wardman Park Hotel in D.C. was the host hotel
where Double R's Mike Hurdelbrink provided the video direction and brought
three days of keynotes, general sessions and entertainment evenings to life
for Aquarian and ACB.
One key video highlighted ACB's National School of Banking. Producer Teresa
Gionis detailed the school's benefits through interviews and footage collected
at the NSB campus in Fairfield, CT. Double R production Assistant
Cheryl Ryan managed arrangements throughout four days of shooting in Fairfield,
CT and Staten Island, New York. Staten Island was the location for another
primary video detailing the life and career of Harry P. Doherty, the incoming
chairman for America's Community Bankers.
Habitat for Humanity provided the backdrop for showing the ACB's members
building together in the Nation's Capitol. Double R Productions demonstrated
once more the ability to turn around a moving piece in 48 hours. A Saturday
morning event required Double R's senior editor Michael
Gionis to shape the piece quickly. The completed packaged was seen by the
general audience and the participants early in the convention week.
Hurdelbrink observed, "Working with Gene and Aquarian is always a pleasure.
We have a long history of collaboration. The smiling faces of our ACB clients
provides, as always, the greatest reward.
The Double R team under the direction of President Rosemary
Reed completed video production. The combined segments covered many locations,
scouted, managed and scheduled by production manager Josh Shama.
Double R Productions is a full service film, television
and media production company in Washington, DC. Projects include commercials,
