GOSPELROBICS BEGINS TO AIR IN WASHINGTON, DC ON WHUT
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Gospelrobics, the newest innovation in health and fitness has found
another broadcast home at WHUT-TV, the Howard University PBS television
station in the nation's Capitol. Familiar to many viewers from BET's Gospel
Channel, The Word Network and Major Broadcasting Cable (MBC), Gospelrobics hit
the DC airwaves on May 8, 2004 on Channel 32. Host Regie Thornton brings
his zeal for fitness of body, mind and spirit to Washington, DC at a time
when many are searching for good health and peace of mind. Regie leads
thirty-minute aerobic sessions with thirteen different workouts ranging
from a family workout to a Conga Jam session. Other programs include: Boot
Camp, Afro Brazilian, Hi-Lo and Step Aerobics.
Regie is a certified aerobics instructor, personal trainer and an ordained
minister who has developed his life's work in helping others share the joy
and satisfaction of a healthy body, mind and spirit. A variety of co-hosts
help introduce different styles and forms of aerobic workouts with informational
interviews by Jenine Hill which wrap up the program.
