GOSPELROBICS ENTERTAINS AT LOCAL HEALTH FESTIVAL
Washington, D.C., July 22, 2004- "Are you pumped for purpose and fit for
the call?" Gospelrobics host and aerobics instructor, Regie
Thornton, will be asking that question on Sat. August 7th. Gospelrobics is
featured at the 2nd Annual "Get Fresh" Festival sponsored by the DC Department
of Health and the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) State Agency.
"We're really excited about this opportunity" said Regie. "Anything we can
do to get people pumped for fitness is well worth our time and Gospelrobics is
the answer!"
Gospelrobics is produced by local television production company, Double
R Productions, and is now airing on WHUT-TV, the Howard University
PBS television station in the nation's Capitol. Gospelrobics is
a half-hour television show designed to educate viewers about all aspects
of fitness. The program features interviews with health and fitness experts
and is a total wellness plan for mind, body, and spirit.
At the "Get Fresh" Festival, Regie will give short demonstrations of this
newest craze in exercise set to high-energy gospel music. "We're absolutely
thrilled to have Gospelrobics as a part of the festival this
year. Regie's love of fitness really gets the crowd excited" said Sabrina
Lewis of the WIC State Agency.
Anyone can join in! Gospelrobics features exercise segments
designed specifically for men, women, and families. Tapes of all 13 shows,
including themes like step aerobics, conga jam, and kickboxing, will be available
for purchase at the Gospelrobics table.
So, join Regie, Gospelrobics, and Double R Productions at
