Double R Productions aids the NAB in their "Bringing Community Service Home" campaign For Immediate Release Double R Productions was commissioned by the National Association of Broadcasters to produce a visual annual report covering their campaign entitled "Local Broadcasters: 'Bringing Community Service Home'". This report is given every two years by the NAB in association with broadcast state associations to document community service works performed by local television and radio stations. The purpose of the video is to partner the written report issued by the NAB. The team at Double R Productions has produced a motivational video for the NAB to thank all of the television and radio stations that donated airtime and energy for a plethora of different community service missions over the last two years. The video also aids the NAB by highlighting the enormous success of their mission. Co-owners Rosemary Reed, President, and Mike Hurdelbrink, Vice President, oversaw the process. Josh Shama, the production manager, helped to coordinate the tapes, Michael Gionis, editor, was the avid media composer, and Cheryl Ryan, production assistant, provided graphic support. Double R took on the last minute project where they performed the tasks of logging numerous footage tapes from stations around the country and organized and facilitated shoots to interview several key voices including that of NAB's CEO Eddie Fritts. The turn-around time that consists of editing, duplication and distribution took only three weeks for the Double R team to complete. "We have worked on many different projects with The National Association of Broadcasters in the past. We are proud to be a part of this important cause that focuses on giving back to the community," said Rosemary Reed. The NAB's "Bringing Community Service Home" campaign for 2004 provided $9.6 billion worth of free airtime. It has helped many different organizations such as the Salvation Army, the Red Cross, the March of Dimes and Breast Cancer awareness, as well as many more. Double R Productions is a full service film, television and media production company in Washington, DC. Projects include commercials, public service announcements, original programming, video news releases, non-broadcast productions for corporate/non-profit organizations and government agencies.
