Double R Productions Celebrates History with President Obama!

Double R Productions' staff braved the cold and the crowds for the 2009 Inauguration Ceremony of President Barack Obama. Double R Productions had 4 video cameras to capture all of the excitement and energy of this historic event. The street was filled with people dancing and celebrating their way down to the National Mall. With tears of joy to hugging and cheering, Double R kept the cameras rolling as millions celebrated the swearing in of the 44th President, Barack Obama.

"We wanted to show the inauguration from a normal person's perspective without a ticket or a place to sit. This wasn't about being close to the action, it was about standing next to your fellow Americans and being a part of history", stated President Rosemary Reed.

Double R Productions also worked the event production for the Illinois State Society Ball. President Rosemary Reed helped guide the evening by serving as the "Voice of God", otherwise known as the announcer. Double R Productions' Claudio Guglielmelli and Megan Kimball served as event assistants by guiding guests to their tables and ensuring that the videos were playing correctly in the three different ballrooms.
